I am glad you asked that question. Although I don’t have any experience in a managerial role, I have learned while working under many good and not-so-great managers. I learned what to do and what not to do from all those experiences. That exposure has led me to examine my management style and what I found out was that I am more inclined towards laissez-faire and coaching style of management.

I like to give freedom and responsibilities to people without checking on them every second. Even at my job, though I don’t hold any managerial title, my colleagues testify to my mentoring skills and how it has helped them to achieve more and become more. So, if allowed to work here, those two styles will be manifested more as I lean more towards it.
