The idea of what to wear to a Little Caesars interview?
First impressions are everything when it comes to interviewing for a job. From the way you walk to the way you talk, to the way you present yourself- it is all very important and each factor matters equally.
How you dress up gives your potential employers the sense of how you present yourself professionally. Even if you are a proper 10/10 on paper, if you are not dressed appropriately- you give an impression that you lack respect for yourself and those you’re meeting with.
But today, you’re in luck as you don’t have to worry anymore since we just became your style guide.
In this article, let’s see how dressing up correctly matters and what we should wear to a Little Caesars’ interview.
Let’s get to it.
1. Wear a nice and clean business casual top/shirt
Now when we say ‘business casual’, what we mean is business, but make it ‘smart casual’ as well. When choosing a top, you should keep the following things in mind -:
- Your top/shirt should not portray that you are trying too hard to get their attention, your words should do that.
- Off-shoulders, deep necks, and crop tops are a big NO.
- The fit of the top/shirt should be clean.
- Make sure that the top or shirt is steamed properly.
- Do not wear a top that is too revealing.
- Keep all of your shirt’s buttons except for the first one, closed. (you can keep all buttons closed too if you want to.)
You’ve got yourself a perfect top/shirt when you keep the above points in mind. Now, let’s see the next steps.
2. Jeans/ Bottoms
A nice pair of jeans is a real game-changer for your whole look. The most important points to consider when selecting a pair of jeans are -:
- The fit. The fit of the jeans can either make you look completely bad or it can make you look like THE person.
- Length of jeans matters a lot. You should definitely go for a full-length non-ribbed pair of jeans.
- Make sure that the pair of jeans or pants that you are choosing, is well-tailored.
3. Footwear
It is said that most people look at your footwear when they first see you. Well, if that’s the case, we better make it worth their while to look at ours.
The most common mistake that people make while choosing a pair of shoes is that they usually don’t go for something that completes or matches their outfit. Instead, they choose something eye-catching to them which is nothing but a bad decision while choosing a nice pair of appropriately matching footwear for your outfit.
Things not to do and do while choosing your footwear -:
- Do not go for anything sparkly.
- Do not choose something with too much heel.
- Little or no heel should be your priority.
- Make sure you’re comfortable in the shoes you choose to wear, you don’t want to fall in front of your interviewers.
4. Accessories
The only thing to do with accessories is- minimal or none at all.
- If you’re wearing a watch, don’t wear any bracelets with it.
- Wearing a belt is a good choice in some cases (as per your outfit).
- Do not wear colored clips and scrunchies.
- If you’re wearing a ring, wear a maximum of 2.
- Do not over layer your necklaces, in most cases- a single necklace is enough but if you want, you can double-layer it.
If you accessorize well and correctly, it can act as a plus point for you.
5. Hair and Makeup
The best thing about hair and makeup is that it enhances you. If you do THIS step right, you’re on the right path.
- Minimal makeup goes best with job interviews. Do not overdo your makeup.
- Keep your hair sleek and together.
- Frizzy hair shouldn’t be on your list of ‘DOs’, and neither should it be on the list of ‘DONTs’. Frizzy hair shouldn’t be on any of the lists in the first place.
- Get yourself a haircut if needed.
- If you’re wearing a lip color, make sure it is not too dark. Nude lip shades are usually people’s go-to for a job interview.
6. Perfume/Scents/Fragrance
Now, the way you smell is a big factor because nobody likes someone if they smell bad. Saying that you should keep in mind that if you want to get that job, you are going to wear your finest scent.
7. Handbag/Satchel/Pouch
When we talk about handbags or satchels or pouches the key factor to keep in mind is -:
- It should be able to carry all your things.
- When you have a bag. Don’t carry things in your hand.
- Don’t overload your bag.
- Keep your bag clean.
- Always carry a professional bag with yourself, do not ever choose bags that are funky or funny to look at or with animated cartoons, or stickers pasted on them.
Conclusion
Also, I want to draw your attention to the fact that if you are uncomfortable in the clothes, accessories, hair, makeup, shoes, or fragrance that you chose- say a big fat goodbye to it and choose something that you are comfortable with. Believe us when we say this- when you are uncomfortable in or with something, it shows all over your face that you are. Not to forget, always and we repeat, always wear finely tailored and steamed clothes.
Apart from that, make sure you wear your confidence well. If you’re confident in what you’re wearing, you’ll be confident in speaking your mind out and that’s all that matters for that interview, right?
We’re pretty sure that you’re thinking right about now that we’re those friends that you never thought you needed.
That’s all for today, folks! Now go rock that interview and thank us later. 🙂
