1) Bar Staff

Bartender

Bartenders at Olive Garden are required to be above 19 years, be eligible to work in the United State, no prior experience is needed, good customer service, good oral and verbal communication is the desired skill. Bartenders must be able to work in a fast environment and must be able to attend to more than one customer at the same time without mixing orders.

Bar Assistant

The bar assistant must be above 19 years, be eligible to work in the United States, no prior work experience is required for this job role, the bar assistant must be courteous towards the customers, job role includes welcoming of customers, taking orders, serving alcoholic drinks to customers.  Bar Assistants must have good customer service, good oral and verbal communication skills. Chef

Job role includes greeting customers and presenting the menu, taking orders and serving food and drinks, receiving payments. A good customer service, good communication skill, and a good courteous and professional attitude is required. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and night shifts is also a requirement

Busser

At Olive Garden, the Busser is responsible for cleaning the dining room, He or She must ensure that the serving area is clean at all times, and appealing. He or She will assist servers in cleaning the tables. Takes the plates, utensils to the kitchen for washing. Fills the diners’ water glasses. They can also help waiters in serving food.

3)  Restaurant Management Staff

Kitchen Manager

The Kitchen Manager is also known as the Culinary Manager. The Kitchen Manager is the head of the kitchen at Olive Garden. He or She is responsible for supervising the kitchen activities, delivering quality Italian Cuisines according to the restaurant standard. He or She leads and coordinates all food preparations. The Culinary Manager ensures the food is delivered hot and in time to restaurant guests.  He or She must be above 19 years with prior working experience. Must have knowledge of all kitchen safety rules. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. And be a licensed food handler.

Restaurant Manager

At Olive Gardens, the restaurant manager is the head of the restaurant; He or She is responsible for general restaurant administration and supervising all the restaurant staff, and restaurant activities. All heads of units in the restaurant reports to the restaurant manager. The restaurant manager is responsible for ensuring that the food is prepared in a clean and safe environment, must ensure that kitchen staff adheres to the standard of the restaurant. Scheduling and ensuring that food orders are delivered promptly.   The Restaurant Manager is also responsible for controlling the operational cost of the restaurant and generates weekly, monthly and annual reports as required. The restaurant manager is also responsible for taking reservations from customers.

Olive Garden requires that the restaurant manager have at least a high school diploma, have a food manager’s, food handler, liquor distribution license, and other food safety certifications.
