  1. WRITE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE: Of course, when you get invited to a corporate dinner, you should respond to their invitation as soon as possible. Please do not end up waiting for more than two days before finally sending them a thank you note; that would only suggest that you are pretty lousy when it comes to such situations and do not take these events seriously. It is your responsibility to let the person/host know that you are grateful to be a part of that gathering. That is why write the note or email with the intention of why you are thanking them.
