A. My communication skills are my strongest suit. I feel like it’s the most important thing when working with other people on a typical project. Therefore, I always express myself clearly and try to be as concise as possible while still including necessary information. 

So far, in all of the teams I’ve worked in, there hasn’t been any confusion around what should happen next or who is responsible for which task/project that makes me think that maybe I’m doing something right!

Q2. What would you do if an employee came into work late every day this week? How about sick days after they promised not to take them at the beginning of last month?

A. This depends on how many days they were late or if they didn’t come in at all and how many times. If it’s just a little bit, I would try talking to them and ask why is that happening? Maybe there was an emergency etc., so the best thing to do here is let them know what kind of behaviour isn’t acceptable but also show willingness towards improvement. Sometimes people can have life issues going on which aren’t something you could even imagine since you don’t live with those employees 24/hrs a day.

If this continues after letting the employee know there will be consequences for their actions, then depending on the circumstances, maybe we need to meet again and talk about possible displacement from team lead position because of this apparent unwillingness toward work ethic required for this position and maybe we can figure out a way to help them reach their potential in another part of the company.

Q3. What is your greatest weakness? How do you deal with it?

A. I’d say that my biggest weakness would be impatience, especially when working on complicated tasks. Sometimes I want everything done yesterday, so thinking about how this might affect other people’s work makes me feel rotten inside. Still, at the same time, there isn’t much I could do about it!

So what I try to do instead is take breaks during such days where everything seems complicated and focus more on simple things that are easier for me or think ahead about enjoying all aspects of life once again – including work experience! This helps not only to concentrate better on the critical tasks but also to deal with negative emotions that come when I can’t reach my goal.

Q4. What are your expectations for this role?

A. I expect to be able to work in a team where everybody is on the same page, knows what they’re doing, and has good communication skills, which allows us all to feel like we’re moving towards one common goal together.

Also, there’s always space for improvement because every person can get better at something if they put their mind to it! This way, other people would become more motivated and myself since I know my weaknesses could turn into strengths with enough practice!

Q5. What do you think makes an effective leader?/ How do you see yourself as an effective leader? 

A. An effective leader takes things seriously when needed while being able to relax when the time is right. This way, they’re able to set an example for their subordinates and show them how important it is to work hard when needed and have fun while doing your job, which makes us all more productive!

Also, I feel like there should be a good balance between available information provided by leader vs. what can be found out on one’s own so that people could learn something both from themselves and their team lead – this would help me become even better at my current position because of the feedback received regarding my management style, etc., plus everyone likes to get praised sometimes, don’t you?

Q6. How do you motivate others? 

A. There are various ways of motivating other people, including praising them, providing positive feedback, etc., but I mostly do this through leading by example!

This way, not only would people see that their team leader is serious about what they’re doing and might start taking it more seriously themselves, but it also makes the whole work environment better because everybody knows if hard work will pay off. 

That’s why I always try to be on time for meetings or other events without letting things like traffic slow me down since punctuality shows respect towards others as well even though sometimes there are situations where you can’t help being late despite your best intentions. Hence, having a good sense of humor goes a long way in these types of situations too.

Q7. What type of salary are you looking for? How much were you making at your last job? 

A. I’m looking for a salary that would be reasonable given my current skills and experiences but also allows me to save up some money to study further because if you don’t know necessary it’s not possible to become better at what you do so one needs to invest into themselves first to succeed!

This is why, since gaining more experience always equals getting paid more as well, I’d need a raise from my current workplace, which was $50k per year this might seem like an outrageous sum of money when compared with potential earnings but all in all I feel it would be reasonable considering how much time goes into studying something new plus making sure everything works properly without any issues along the way.

Q8. What is your availability? Can you work overtime on short notice if needed? 

A. My schedule usually consists of Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays when I’m in the right mood for it. Still, since my goal is to become a team lead, one requires good communication skills and being able to coordinate everyone’s schedules so they’d know what their tasks are and how much time goes into completing them!

This means that, even though there might be occasional times when something urgent comes up during the day or night (it happens more often than we all like), I would always make sure my subordinates don’t feel abandoned by giving them enough warning about needing to stay longer at work – which will most certainly result in them working harder next time around if they know it’s for the good of the team!

A. I think that being straightforward with people is always better than beating around the bush because there are just some things which should also be discussed among co-workers no matter how hard to hear they might sound since, to get anything done correctly, everyone has to follow specific rules and guidelines – this way we’d all feel more comfortable at work knowing what our tasks are while not having any doubts about what behavior is appropriate or inappropriate, etc., plus who likes dealing with unnecessary tension?!

A. My biggest strength would have to be my ability to adapt quickly no matter how new or different things are. If there are no changes, then nothing will ever improve, and that can’t possibly be good for anyone involved, right?! 

This means I’m able to take on any task given without complaint as long as it doesn’t violate one of my personal beliefs – this way, I’d never let anything get me down while also making sure everyone else wouldn’t either, which results in happier co-workers with higher morale which, in the end, is always better for everyone involved!
