c) Background process
a) User process:- Here, when a user gives a command to get something, they usually request servers for that so, this is known as a user process. In simple terms, the User process starts when a database user requests a connection to the Oracle server.
So, after getting the request, the server accepts it. At that time, the users’ duty finishes, and then the servers’ duty starts.
b) Server process:- When the user request server at that time, a connection establishes between the user and server so, after accepting the user request, the server performs its work. In simple, the server process is a program that directly interacts with the oracle server. Fulfills calls generated and returns the result.
c) Background process:- As the server works on memory data, fetches data, basically according to the user command, it works on data. Therefore, it is known as a background process. In simple, the Background process starts when an Oracle Instance starts.
